Priya Alahan
I started taking photos the year I turned 14. I became obsessed with capturing the vivid colours and intensely contrasted natural light that surrounded me on the gorgeous garden island of Kauai. My work began to reflect my deep appreciation for classical art as well as my love of dance and movement.
As an artist, narrative is key to any image that I publish. Be it a typical headshot or a styled campaign shoot, there is always a story to be told. I have an appreciation of vintage fashion and often incorporate that aesthetic into my styled shoots.
